Microbial contamination
Development, validation, transfer, suitability and microbiological control of raw materials, bulks, finished products and packaging items.
ACM Pharma adapts to each need
Enumeration of bacteria, molds and yeasts makes it possible to verify the microbiological quality of finished products, in bulk or of your raw materials. In addition, some germs have a pathogenic power (example: Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Aspergillus brasiliensis, Candida albicans, Burkholderia cepacia complex, Listeria, Shigella and other objectionable germs, etc.) which justifies their research into cosmetic products. The presence of these objectionable microorganisms, even in small quantities, constitutes a potential danger for the health of the patient.
The tests are carried out according to the main standards in pharmaceuticals industries :
- Eur Ph, chap 2.6.12, 2.6.13 and 2.6.31
- USP <60>, <61> and <62>
Live biotherapeutics:
- Tests for enumeration of microbial contaminants according to Eur Ph, Chap 2.6.36
- Search for living microorganisms according to Eur Eur, chap 2.6.38
- Enumeration of flora of interest: Lactobacilli, Bifidobacterium, Bacillus clausii and yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae var boulardii.
Fertility and sterility control of culture media according to Eur Ph, USP and ISO cosmetic standards.

- Microbiological tests on wipes and masks impregnated or coated according to NF ISO 21322
- BacT / Alert method for enumeration within 48 hours of bacteria, yeasts and molds
We also perform fertility and sterility testing of your culture media according to Eur Ph, USP and the possibility of adding your strains of interest or environmental in connection with our activity of microbial identification and strain conservation.
The enumeration of bacteria, molds and yeasts makes it possible to verify the microbiological quality of finished nutraceuticals prodcuts, bulk or your raw materials. In addition, certain germs have a pathogenic power (example: Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Aspergillus brasiliensis, Candida albicans, Burkholderia cepacia complex and other objectionable germs…) which justifies their research in nutraceuticals / food supplements.
The presence of these microorganisms, even in small quantities, constitutes a potential danger for the health of the user and the stability of your products.
